Phoenix Contact, Middletown, PA, has introduced the TRIO-UPS uninterruptible power supply for use with industrial PCs. The UPS automatically restarts a PC in the event of an extended power outage. The UPS features an adjustable DC voltage output time function, enabling it to continue operating through short interruptions of main power. The charge unit and 5A power supply are housed in a single, DIN-rail-mountable package. The system includes a software package that lets the user configure alarm set points, delay times, and hold-up times. It also enables real-time monitoring of the UPS status including battery mode, charge mode, and battery capacity.
